David Douard (Perpignan, France,1983), he currently works and lives in Aubervilliers, France. In 2017, he won the Fondazione Ettore Fico Prize for his solo exhibition Present Future at Artissima. He was recently a boarder at the Academy of France in Rome, Villa Medicis (2017-2018), where he has been working on his most recent shows which include Today Will Happen as part of the Gwangju Biennale in South Korea (2018), Take Me (I'm yours) curated by Christian Boltanski, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Chiara Parisi at Villa Medici in Rome (2018), and to the group show CHILDHOOD - Another banana day for the dream-fish at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2018). Recent solo shows include BLOOD O' US at Rodeo Gallery, London (2017), Bat-Breath. Battery, at Galerie Chantal Crousel in Paris (2015), SO at Basement Roma in Rome (2015) and Mo'Swallow at Palais de Tokyo in Paris (2014).
